Christmas lights fantastic

A really fun, real-life Clark Griswold experience. We loved seeing the lights and hearing the history.

this is thee place to visit during the Xmas season.....the Xmas lights are truly spectacular...the people go all out trying to out do each other every year thus making it a must see....parking in the street is very difficult especially when it gets dark because of the crowds and people walking around....

The Christmas lights are the best you'll ever see. It's just house, after house, after house! You'll never get tired of looking at the beauty of it!

No one, but no one, has a better display of Christmas lights and decorations than Dyker Heights. These folks spend upwards of $20,000 and keep Con Ed happy along with busloads of tourists, walkers, visitors from near and far. The best lights display I've ever seen and I found it clearly by accident through a local guide!

We live in Connecticut and have been wanting to visit for awhile. We drove in and found free parking nearby, but on street parking is hit or miss. During the time we were there, we only saw 2 spots open, and we were lucky to get one of them. The displays are something like you'd see in a movie. They... More

My husband I planned our holiday-of-a-lifetime to NYC for the pre-Christmas period 18th - 24th Dec 2016. I did loads of research (we booked the holiday 11 months prior) and found out about the Dyker Heights Christmas lights which I'd never heard of before. I found some tours but as they all seemed to depart from and return to Manhattan... More

There are many cheaper options of seeing the Xmas decorations in Brooklyn like joining walking tours and traveling there on the subway but I found Viator the most convenient. The tour takes you to see the lights in both Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights. If you are visiting NYC it saves you time to do or see other things as... More

We went on the Christmas Light Tour - A Little Slice Of Brooklyn. It was amazing to see all the different colours, shapes and arrangements!

We went on 29th December with Slice of Brooklyn. Coach was full but there were not that many other people around so we had good views of the houses. It was a cold night which made it feel more Christmassy. Lots of ideas how to decorate your own house and garden, if you have the budget or the time. Make... More

We got the metro to Brooklyn from Bryant Park (orange line) to 79th Street, then walked from there, it took about an hour. We then walked around the neighbourhood, totally amazed at the lights and the effort that people had gone to. We went on a Friday night, so it wasn't too busy, aparently Saturdays are crazy! There were a... More
