Flatbush Avenue is definitely one of the busiest parts of Brooklyn with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and clothes stores to keep you busy.

This very, very long street runs the length of Brooklyn and includes the modern high rises and business downtown as well as many residential neighborhoods. Come and see it all.

... that said, you could do worse than use Flatbush Ave as your means of exploring Brooklyn. Downtown, Barclay Centre, Park Slope, Grand Army Plaza, Library, Botanic Gardens, Prospect Park - enjoy. Stop into Frannys for a white clam pizza while your at it.
