- Autumn MStamford, Connecticut3,421 contributionsCute butMy four year old liked the museum. He did get bored fairly quickly. After one pretend market all the others seemed redundant. The ice skating ring at the top was cheap plastic and an additional charge. I paid for both and was told there was an extra $10 pp on top. The museum had fun parts, but definitely needs updating. It will be too young for my son by next year.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 15 January 2023
- Linda DNiangua, Missouri24 contributionsNice children’s museum. Would recommend!Nice children’s museum. Clean and inviting. There are a variety of areas to explore. Our 6 year old had a great time! There is a separate area just for toddlers, but the area for the older kids is also appropriate for toddlers. Everyone we encounter was pleasant and polite. I don’t recall hearing any crying children so they must have all been enjoying themselves! 😊 Restrooms were clean. There is a cafeteria style eating area with kid friendly options. We did not eat there though because we weren’t there during a meal time so I can’t speak to the quality of the food or the cost. This was a wonderful stop on our vacation. It allowed our kiddo to have a fun break from the site seeing and we got to see Brooklyn in the process. Win, win.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 July 2023
- Phillip CNew York City, New York7 contributionsEnjoyable children’s museum for a summer afternoon activity indoorsMy family really enjoyed our time at the museum - we have a 6 year old and 2.5 half year old and they both enjoyed spending 2-3 hours there. The pretend play exhibits were enjoyable for them and it was a fairly large space to run around. Parking isn’t the most straightforward as there’s limited street parking so allow time for that if driving there. The space is also a bit dated but it doesn’t really matter for kids - who enjoy the interactive play and exhibits.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 16 July 2023

The wild life exhibits are dusty and tired looking. Very small museum with limited exhibits But there is potential for improvement on what they have. Compared with Philadelphia please touch museum, it was not worth the entrance fee.

I went on Pay what you wish for tickets, these are usually hard to come by, but we went during a snowstorm. The place is marvelous if you have kids that are 1-9 but if your child is above 10 you will not find much there to entertain. The first floor is filled with surprises, while the second floor has activities but are not as interesting for children since it focus's more on the art aspect.

Extremely hot inside. Air conditioning is essentially broken. Temps in the 80's inside. No fun at all for my kids. Nothing else interesting in that area. It cost us $56 to enter and $80 to get a Lyft out of the area. AVOID this place!

I took my daughter there in November 2019 for their Dia de los Muertos celebration. I was very disappointed. In one of the activities, the staff were not attentive to those participating. One of the activities they had planned, and one we were looking forward to doing, was in a small sensory room where you needed a reservation (which was not mentioned on their website). For such an activity, it should have been in a bigger room. We loved getting our faces painted for the "calavera", but that was the only highlight of our trip. If you're looking for a rainy day activity, get creative with home games.

As far as activities for rainy or cold days, I think this is a great choice. Not sure how busy it’s gets on weekends, but we went on a Wednesday afternoon. It was quiet, the few kids there were babies and preschool age and we were able to enjoy all of the exhibits at our leisure.
World Brooklyn was super cool with the little shops the kids could play in.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to try out the cafe as they decided to close early. Not enough patrons on a school day I guess.
I thought the admission was high at first but walking through I thought the museum was well maintained & each “shop” had fun things for the kids to play with.
Gift shop prices were reasonable and I got a few books for the boys commemorating our visit.

I loved the streets and shops exhibit that highlights the ethnic diversity of Brooklyn. The 2nd floor terrace is also a great place for kids to play and adults to relax. And there's an imagination playground (room with those big blue foam blocks) so my 4-year-old was in heaven.

Hello! I don't think there is much to do for a 13 months old kid :(
