Came here because it was raining and we couldn’t walk around Coney Island. Kids under 19 are free unless you want to see the main art exhibition. They have a suggested donation, but you can pay what you want. It’s a nice museum and we spent about 2 hours here walking around and just sitting people watching.

We took the subway to see the Georgia O'Keeffe exhibit and I really recommend it. Her paintings are tied in with the clothes she wore which are also in the exhibit. Many of the outfits she made. She lived in New York and many of her paintings in the exhibit I had never seen. There is a great painting of... More

My husband and I went here on a Friday and had a great time. We started with the O'Keefe special exhibit--it is a must see. The exhibit explores O'Keefe's sartorial tastes and displays her clothes alongside her paintings. Her first museum exhibit was at the Brooklyn Museum in 1927, so it's a very cool homage to her 90 years later.... More

We really enjoyed our visit. Our only complaint was that it was very crowded and the cafeteria was overrun. That said, we enjoyed sharing a table with a local!

So I went there to see the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit. It was really fascinating, if you get a chance you should go see it. The majority of the museum was set up for A Year of Yes: Reimagning Feminism. I loved everything. Certainly worth a few hours of exploring.

This museum is well worth a visit, there are a range of exhibitions - from Egyptian mummies to very modern exhibitions, such as an innovative one on the colour blue, the Georgia O'Keeffe exhibition, etc. Great structure, friendly staff.

Currently, the Brooklyn Museum has a show focusing on Georgia O'Keefe which is outstanding. There are other permanent exhibits to see and walking through the building is a joy!

Overall, this is an excellent museum, and I was especially thrilled by the Georgia O'Keeffe exhibit. I learned so much about her and became inspired to learn more about her. My only minor complaint about the museum is regarding their tiny, slow elevator. My daughter and I used the stairs as much as we could, but slow elevator seems like... More
