There's so much to do here at the park, as well as things to be seen. It's a very big park. Great place to come for a quiet picnic with a few friends or to take a walk. On one side of the park there...More

Unlike Central Park, Brooklyn's Prospect park is both spectacular and secluded, a therapeutic retreat from stress, congestion, and noise. Very easy to get to -- there are 4 different subway stations on various borders of this massive park, and others within a couple of blocks....More

There's a tree planted here for one of my favorite musicians, Peter Steele. I came to find it while visiting. I found Prospect Park to be beautiful, even though it rained on and off that day. Overall its a great place to wander, jog, bring...More

A true gem in the middle of Brooklyn. On a Sunday afternoon there was plenty of green space to enjoy a picnic, a friendly game of soccer or volleyball. We also enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the park.

It's so calm and peaceful here. Everyone is having a nice day, laughing, enjoying their free time. I love it.

Beautiful natural park filled with wildlife and far less people than one would expect. Large open meadows for frisbee games and gatherings, a dog beach at a small lake, boating, waterfalls, meandering paths, the Audubon Center... just go and recover from the pace of the...More

Prospect park is a nice refreshing place to enjoy a relaxing stroll, jog, or cycle in Brooklyn. It is nicely designed although would like to see the water kept cleaner (has too much rubbish).

If you are in the area on the day of a Smorgasburg event, you definitely should try it out! The food is delicious. Just don't forget cash (many places don't take credit cards and at ATM line was very long) or a blanket to sit...More

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, so yes I am biased. However, I have taken many out of town friends to Prospect Park, and it is an oasis in the city. Yes, Central Park in Manhattan is beautiful, but Prospect has that neighborhood feel...More

I think this might be my favorite park even over Central Park. Why, because it is fronted by Grand Army Plaza. You would swear you were in Paris.

We arrived by cab but didn't see parking near the zoo. We had a problem getting a cab afterwards as none passed that weren't pre-booked. In the end we had to walk a fair way to the library and ask for help from the... More

Sorry, but it is gone . To my knowledge it was outside of the Barclay's Center on Atlantic Ave near the entrance of the MTA subway station granted that was early Sept. Not quite sure where it is now
