I stopped here for a picture in front of the temperature sign. It was too warm at 65 degrees. The REAL FUN is in the winter in 45-50 BELOW ZERO temps in nothing but skimpy clothing.

Spent several hours in the museum, great displays, excellent movies, good people running the counter and helping out. College students no doubt. Beautiful campus, high on a hill. Also went the "LARS" (off site) Large Animal Resource center.

It was very interesting. This was part of a tour. There were only three people on our tour. We went on a Sunday so there were no parking fees.

UAF is a beautiful spread out campus with an amazing history, modern additions and incredible staff. The museum on campus is amazing. You could spend hours and hours there. Don't forget to check out their ice hockey rink also.
