I was so impressed with the variety of garden beds! I saw so much I wish I had at home. We were a little late in season but some great plants still. I would definitely go back!

During the summer months in Fairbanks, the Botanical Gardens host many events! One of my favorites is Music in the Garden! Free live music, food to purchase. You can bring your own picnic, and then wander around the gardens! Go when the peonies are in...More

This was a beautiful place to visit - no tour guide so we went twice when we could squeeze it into other touring. Good signage, gorgeous plantings. The size of the cabbage floored us!

Princess Lodge does have vans - I would ask if they could drop you off at Georgeson. But you may need to call a cab; it's between 4 and 5 miles.
