This was a beautiful place to visit - no tour guide so we went twice when we could squeeze it into other touring. Good signage, gorgeous plantings. The size of the cabbage floored us!

Free to visit showcases what can grow really well in Alaska. Many of the garden beds are overgrown and this could be a drop dead gorgeous garden with a little TLC

Princess Lodge does have vans - I would ask if they could drop you off at Georgeson. But you may need to call a cab; it's between 4 and 5 miles.
