Nice and peaceful

We came up from Seattle for Spring Break, and this place was full of niceness and peace. The Habitat was so beautiful with deep snow, and we had a lot of fun there!

Beautiful natural preserve. A good place to go walking and enjoy the scenery. City stresses melt away as you wander around in nature.

Beautiful trails located adjacent to Wedgewood Resort and the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum. I would recommend checking out both.

My boyfriend and I ventured to the wildlife sanctuary the last time visited him in October. It was pretty cold and the ground had a bit of frost on it but we enjoyed the walk and the view when you get to the water is very beautiful. Definitely a nice small activity to do with friends!

A well maintained and quiet walk. Connected loops allow a walk of any desired length up to 2 miles or more. A wonderful experience for young old and families. Wheel chair friendly.

Beautiful and hard to believe you are so close to the resort. We stayed at the Wedgewood Bear Lodge as part of our Princess Land Tour and really recommend it!

Within the Fairbanks City Limits as part of the Wedgewood Resort, this wildlife sanctuary is serene and quiet. It features several birds out around a large pond. We spent about an hour leisurely walking around.

We have stayed at Wedgewood apartments several times and always enjoy going back behind on the gravel trail to view the birds on the pond. The trail is lined with white bark birch trees and is a very nice walk. The pond has a great trail around it with several places to sit and take in the scenery. There is... More

A few geese, a few ducks, a few Sand hill cranes and an occasional moose does not make a wildlife sanctuary. This was my second time here, once 4 weeks ago. Disappointing to me is it is advertised as a Wildlife Sanctuary. Really this is a park for people. I am not against parks for people's and dogs but don't... More
