My family and I booked 2 Aurora-night tours with 1st Alaska Outdoor School when visited Fairbanks in early March. Janet was friendly and helped me and my sister learned to use the professional camera during our wait for the Aurora lights. Though that night we barely see any due to cloud and snow, her attitude keep us hopeful. Her friend... More

Janet was our guide for the Chena Hot springs night tour - she was very helpful and she herself was very excited about the trip, which makes us enjoy the trip as well. Very patient and helpful to the tourist. She took pictures of us with the auroras with her own camara, which helped because we are amateurs at the... More

Before I went I didn't think it would be that nice, but our driver&guide JANET was the nicest, supporting, and kindest tour guide I have ever met! She taught our a lot of things during the way to and come back, such as the local environment, the food, the nice place to visit and the animals. She was there the... More

The dog sled mushing experience was spectacular - experiencing Alaska's outdoors with a veteran guide and an exhuberant set of dogs. Great hospitatility. Guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks, Trae, Sevie, and Sven!

This experience of dog sled mushing with Sven and Ed was a once in a lifetime adventure for us and our group. Ed was a great tour guide telling us all about the area while he transported us. He was at the location early to pick us and very friendly. Sven was great to allow us to spend time with... More

Arctic Circle trip - guide Aron was very well versed on the sights, history, landscape,... More

We have just returned from a trip to Alaska and had the time of our lives. But the most special highlight of all was our Dog Sled/DInner on the evening of March 1st. Our Guide was Tony and our musher/host was Sven. Dog sledding and viewing the Aurora have been 2 activities in which we have wanted to participate for... More

We booked the Aurora viewing lodge tour with 1st Alaska Outdoor School. Our driver and guide Michael arrived the hotel to pick up us very on time. That was a cloudy and snowing night, we already prepared a night without northern lights but still kept the little hope that the sky could clear up after midnight, unfortunately it didn't. However...
