The park is free and has plenty of historic buildings and interesting museums to visit. Take the train ride to see the entire park. It costs only $1.00 for over 60 crowd and $2.00 for adults under 60. There are activities that have admission prices...More

Good option for fun during the weekend with family, kids, you can try a picnic or just walking around, a lot of history and good to get to know about local customs. I highly recommend.

A nice park preserving and displaying many of the original log buildings which comprised the village of Fairbanks, AK. There is a paddle wheeler dry docked which contains many diaramas of ancient Alaskan river and mountain villages. There is no admission price and there are...More

Pioneer park is a good place to spend a few hours with your family. There are fun things to see and some great little food places. The best thing we found was the artwork of Justin Karella at his carving boutique. Justin tells a story...More

Lots of history here, with pioneer homes gathered at this location and furnished with period pieces. I also had a great lunch while there, stopping by a panini maker. You can make it a picnic by sitting with your sandwich at a nearby bench.

Lots of little shops and a couple smaller museums. Informative historical buildings. Great Caribbean hut for food - Tasha's. Definitely bring smaller kids here - there's a very nice park set up with play structures and a small putt-putt golf place. Very beautiful flowers.
