Great. This is a great place to see the sun not set. Did this end of June on longest day. When we were there we had four inches of snow. June 2005 ?

Summit is the only accurate description. There are no eagles and there is nothing there but a nice view. When you hear the word summit you think mountain top, well the summit is more like a hilltop. There is nothing there. Don't pay to go...More

Eagle Summit is a good place to be on the summer solstice. From the top you can see that the sun never sets all night! It's the only place I know of south of the arctic circle where you can do so.

This stop is very interesting in that it is the highest point in the immediate area and has 24 hour sunlight one day a year.

Almost turned around, so glad we didn't. Miles and miles of snow for as far as we could see. It was below zero and windy but so worth it. I'm going back.

I went both winter and summer. The views are breath taking. This place is amazing. I didn't hike the trail but explored it and I was great. It's a little bit of a drive but worth it

It had been a few years since I was out this way, and it really seems like it hasn't changed a whole lot over the 20 some years that I have been visiting/passing by Eagle Summit. The wind is often howling, so be prepared. Sometimes...More

The views are spectacular. The winds really blows, so take a jacket, even in the summer months. Very educational, too.

Eagle Summit is a great location to take a day trip to. Not so much because of the final destination, but more because of the entire drive itself. Wonderful scenery and sometimes wild life can be seen from the road. A 4 wheel drive is...More
