One wonderful short afternoon digging, lifting, hammering & splitting rock. My visit was too short but found a tub full of delightful fossils! George is a wonderful host who explained, modeled what was needed. Bring water, a hat and sunscreen! Thank you....we will be back!

This commercial quarry is about 30 minutes north of Kemmerer. It is off a well graded BLM road. After you leave the BLM road, the approach road is a little rougher, along a rutted road when we visited in May 2017, but still easily accessible....More
