what a great find.A nice little beach just before the Shipyard Memorial. Children in the cold water! Our dog loved it. the Memorial was informative and well kept up.

Located next to the boat ramp at Marine Park (there may be a parking charge) the Memorial is located behind the bathrooms. You can not miss it, just look for the Tower. The tower gives you a great view of the area, especially the old...More

Stopped to use the restrooms. Started reading all the signs. We learned so much about the area and the history of shipbuilding on the Columbia. Worth the fee. Nice bathrooms

From what I could see through the fence, this looked interesting (I'm a history buff) but unfortunately, it was fenced off and a sign said "Closed for repairs" with no further information. There is a $5 parking fee, and an automated pay station - but...More

This memorial is located in the marine park off SE Columbia Way next to the boat launch. Be aware, there is a $5 parking fee. The former Kaiser Shipyard is now the site of the Columbia Business Park on the south side of Highway 14...More

If you are into public art, this is definitely a must see. It is a very modern sculpture with a variety of textures and angles.
