great for history buffs

Great period piece locations with interesting histories. best way to visit is to walk down the street and stop and view each by itself. Well work a small detour to visit.

This is a nice histrorical area, with a nice park, and lots of historical significance. I have attended a wedding at the park there, and traveling through from point to point can be pleasant, if you are able to leisurely enjoy the route.

This is a really neat collection of old homes that are now converted to businesses, government offices, and wedding venues. The drive down Officer's Row is spectacular during all seasons with the tree line. There is also some excellent Pokémon hunting if that's important to you.

Time the officers houses represent the time periods of the occupation of the fort. They are a fabulous representation of period architecture. In a wonderful parklike setting. I have never been in any of the smaller row like buildings but they are great to look at.

Along the north side of E. Evergreen Boulevard is where you will find Officer’s Row. This is where the officer’s of Fort Vancouver lived when the Army occupied this area many decades ago. The oldest officer’s house is The Grant House built in 1849. The newest house on Officer’s Row was built in 1907. A span of almost six decades.... More

This is a lovely historic area that is undergoing many changes. The buildings are under restoration at/near the Barracks. It is a fun place to stroll, jog, or sit and enjoy the view.

The place is simply antiquated, as if a frozen moment in times past. The buildings are old, but they look like they've never been worn. The huge deciduous trees lining the street it's like a park and historic district at the same time. So if you want to take a step back in time and enjoy big beautiful trees, and... More

We were visiting Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and decided to have lunch. The Grant House sits on Officers' Row and has absolutely wonderful clam chowder. They rotate different beers but had our local favorite when we visited (Nikes Total Domination IPA).

It is nice street and if you find a guide they will tell you about history of this place. It is great to learn history, walking, picknicking and taking fancy pictures. We had one of our relative wedding pictures taken there and they came out good.

I'm not real sure why this is a place to review. Perhaps because it's a historical place but for me, it's now a row of houses that are office spaces. Nice buildings though.
