Great place to go for a walk. Scenic and Quiet. Stop off at the Grant house for dinner or Happy Hour or morning coffee along the route from Arnada to the river.

My hat is off to those responsible for the restoration of this establishment. It was fascinating to see the barracks and officers quarters as they were in the early 1900s.

This is the oldest neighborhood in the northwest. We are fortunate that it hasn't been commercialized. Parking is free for two hours so you can walk, look and dream of the past.

Full of history and very interesting. We loved the Victorian architecture and the old fort. Plus, the General Marshall house and Grants house were very cool!

The houses are so pretty. Each house has a plaque in front detailing a part of history. There is a tour if the Marshall House and you can eat at the Grant house.
