Beautiful area, walking, biking, gorgeous view, a wonderful restaurant with special occasion events. Historical Fort Vancouver with re-enactment events, small grocery store and a Visitor's Center. See and visit historical homes and cabins. A terrific history lesson.

I always enjoy a stroll down officer's row as well as all the other attractions at Ft Vancouver. Time seems to slow down for me as I think back of the military history since 1849. We love to sit on the porch at the Grant...More

Busy, popular restaurant. Was Grant House. Good food and not skimpy plates. Original construction in a wall area reveals wood and mortar. Service can be a little show when busy.

The tree-lined road has excellent sidewalks and lots of grass to run in or lay down and take a nap. Many of these historic houses are businesses or restaurants now.

Great place to go for a walk. Scenic and Quiet. Stop off at the Grant house for dinner or Happy Hour or morning coffee along the route from Arnada to the river.

My hat is off to those responsible for the restoration of this establishment. It was fascinating to see the barracks and officers quarters as they were in the early 1900s.

This is the oldest neighborhood in the northwest. We are fortunate that it hasn't been commercialized. Parking is free for two hours so you can walk, look and dream of the past.
