FT Scott is a wonderful example of what is best described as early frontier history. The fort itself is well kept and not what you would expect as a Pre-Civil War post. The staff and volunteers were well versed in the period and well informed...More

We took our 3 boys to the fort. 1 preschooler, 1 middle schooler, and 1 junior high and they all really enjoyed it. So many buildings to explore and very educational for them. We really enjoyed our visit.
