A friend from home told me that we HAD to do the Hearse Tour while in Savannah, so we did. At first my husband and I were a bit skeptical when the transformed hearse pulled up in front of our hotel, but we are glad it did. And when I say the hearse, I mean a literal hearse! One that... More

My boyfriend and I decided on this because lets face it, when do you get to ride around in a hearse?? Our tour guide, forgot his name but he was dressed to fit the part was great. Told us great stories of some of the famous murders/deaths/suicides in Savannah. There weren't any ghost encounters, as it was more of a... More

Savannah has what seem like countless ghost tours, and it's no wonder. Savannah is known as America's most haunted city, in part because it is a city literally built over its dead. Based on a recommendation I received, I signed up for a Hearse Ghost Tour, so named because guests literally ride on a retrofitted hearse that has its roof... More

Our tour guide was very entertaining but I forgot his name. He put a pirate hat on at the Pirate House and tried to talk like a pirate it was funny. We had gone on the haunted pub crawl the previous night and this was more fun but no ghosts seen. Wish we would have stopped for a traveler on... More

We did this at the 9pm time slot and Laura was our guide. I thought she did a great job at telling the stories! She made some corny jokes which I thought went well with the theme. We got a great tour of the Historic District and a lot of great historical information. We went back the next day to... More

I believe Phyliss was our guide and she was great. It was cool to ride in a cut out hearse and tour the city. You will see orbs on the camera on this tour and hear some sad ghost stories.

Riding in a hearse was the scariest thing about this tour and that is because the hearse is 100 years old and the chairs you have to sit in are about to break! It is also very hard to get into since you have to step up in the hearse on a step stool. The guide seemed bored and his... More

There were 3 of us. Our guide picked us up at our motorhome at the Visitors Center and we were immediately entertained with tales of ghosts and spirits that are such a big part of Savannah's history. Riding in the hearse was interesting. It was open air so that was really pleasant on the warm, humid night we were there.... More

There was 6 of us from 15 to 50. It was appropriate for the entire group. Peg Leg Ron, our driver and guide was funny and informative. You get to ride in an actual Hearse with a lift top. Take the late tour which starts at 9 pm or 10:45 pm. Savannah is a great town for ghosts tours. I... More
