A good place to start your visit. Helpful maps and convenient sign up for tours, plus a history museum. And the 20-minute introductory video/film in the theater conveniently runs continuously.

Not only did we receive great information on where to go in the city, but the actual building is very historical on its own. The place is huge and has plenty to offer as far as getting around this amazing town.

Have been to a few visitor centers. People were crabby, not clean and did not have cafe as advertised.

Always make this your first stop in Savannah. You will get all the maps, info and reservations you need. Also, if you are using your own car to get around, they will let you know all the parking rules. Free meters after 5pm M-F and free all day Sat and Sun!

It was late when we stopped in to use the restrooms after the Old Savannah Tour and visited the shop to purchase some post cards. If your a tourist it's a good area to pick up pamphlets and brochures, booking tours and trolley's.

Tybee island lighthouse is one of my favorite places to visit near Savannah. It is just a fun place to walk around.

Many brochures available for taking. Didn't request any information from staff. Interesting building. Old. Facilities onsite (restrooms). Central area for booking trolleys, tours, etc.
