A lovely theatre- beautifully restored. Attended a holiday concert which was terrific. It was easy to see the stage from any seat in the orchestra section. The acoustics were good. Ticket prices were moderate. Definitely a great place to see a live performance.

I love going here to see the Savannah Philharmonic/Symphony, and seeing David Sedaris read here was nice as well. Beautifully restored building (the tour is cool if you're into that angle) with plenty of entertainment options year round, close to many great restaurants on Broughton...More

I went with my daughter, a SCAD student, to watch a film for the Savannah Film Festival. What a BEAUTIFUL theater! Our seats were in the third row and what a view! We stayed for a Q and A with the star of the movie....More

We went there for a music show and were impressed. It's a great old theater that is in good shape. We were greeted by a good staff and had a great time. The theater is in an easily walkable section of the historic district.

Went to a concert here- lovely theater- seats were comfortable, and I don't think there was a bad seat in the place! We sat in the balcony- center and we loved the seats. Stayed at River Street Inn-so had a short walk. Got home and...More

We really enjoyed walking by the building every day as it really reminded us of the theater from the movie Back to the Future. The architectural design is beautiful and unique. We loved the old school 50's style sign wrapped around the front.

Was able to visit the theater for the Sarah Jarosz & Richard Thompson concert as part of the Savannah Music Festival. It's a charming old place, a throwback. Acoustics are ok but not great.

This is the second time we have been to the Lucas Theater, and are not disappointed. It is a lovely older theater, and the staff is amazing. They truly enjoy the theater themselves, and share that enthusiasm with the patrons. We went to see a...More

We attended the Marshall Tucker Band concert here. It is beautifully decorated from the 1920s era, I believe, with balconies, gorgeous light fixtures and great details. Comfortable graduated seating made it easy to see even over tall people. Definitely will be back.

I meant front row balcony on my previous post. Orchestra Center or front row balcony are my choices. The venue is so small there are no far away seats like there are in an arena.

I'm sure there is. I noted it is posted on the marquee. They do give tours of the building. Times are posted in the doors.
