The park is a great place to hang out and relax during the day, tons of people, various free activities to see. People watching is great. AVOID THE PARK AT NIGHT, that’s what I was told by all locals so I adhered to the warning.

Savannah has so many parks to venture thru with so much history. But Forsyth park is by far the most beautiful and probably the largest. Plenty of wide open spaces and quaint park benches to sit on to people watch. Love the fountain...

The fountain is lovely, but so are the grounds in the park. Tracks to run/ jog on. An Art Deco style cafe in the middle and many interesting historical buildings surround it. At the opposite end is Bull St, where you will find a health...More

The park is beautiful and the neighborhood around it is full of houses from the 1800s in great condition. Nice area to walk and relax. The SCAD academy admissions office is in that area.

This park is stunning. We grabbed coffee at the coffee shop at the end of the park before our walk. Beautiful manicured gardens and something for everyone: walking, bikes, field sports, playgrounds for kids, historical monuments and houses... We spent about an hour here but...More

Nice park in the middle of the city, nothing special. We were there for the Savannah marathon. Nice place to bring a dog.

Beautiful park with several monuments and the iconic fountain. Kind of a must when visiting Savannah. Panhandlers want you to let them take your picture and then tell you their life story. Rather sad but there is a large number of homeless throughout the city.

No matter the weather or time of year—Forsyth Park is well worth the walk through. The main fountain is iconic Savannah!

When we were there, no bikes were allowed on the pedestrian paths, but that did not stop people. If you are caught there is a $500 fine. Just pay attention to where you are riding.

Yes, it has been removed to avoid vandalism, to a museum. The Bird Girl statue has likewise been taken to a museum. It is available for public viewing.
