This park is beautiful and has fairly clean restrooms and a farmers market on Saturday morning. The park is huge with lots of people playing soccer, ultimate, etc. Great place to bring a dog (on leash) or to have a picnic.

Beautiful park. Trees, fountains. The largest of a line of parks stretching north-south that will take you into the city on foot.

Big park with many gorgeous huge oak trees. Lots of open spaces. There were dogs and kids, volleyball and a trumpet player. Plus we saw a wedding about to commence at the fountain. Worth a visit if in Savannah.

Good to see, but the smaller squares near the river have better monuments and more informative plaques.

I took the free trolley and had a lovely morning at the park, it's very well used so note that it may be crowded. Farmer's Market had an array of great fruits and veggies and used tokens for regulars, better than always carrying cash. Very...More

Gorgeous park, we had an excellent view from the Mansion where we stayed. Too cold to walk around, but a beautiful setting for our visit to Savannah

Yes...you can, but if I remember correctly; they must be on a leash by rules of the Town We were conversing about that at the Brice Kimpton Hotel (Pet friendly hotel in Savannah) with other dog owners Hope this helps... More

When we were there, no bikes were allowed on the pedestrian paths, but that did not stop people. If you are caught there is a $500 fine. Just pay attention to where you are riding.
