We took ourselves on a "self guided" tour of the park and it was beautiful. It was very relaxing yet it seemed there was a lot to do if you have young children.

A delightful park with old trees and shrubs that offer a very relaxing atmosphere. It is reminiscent of Battery park in Old Charleston.

Interesting history and lovely fountain. It would be a great place to take the grandchild or walk the dog.

There is something for everyone at this park. The trees are beautiful, they have two playgrounds for the children and there is a café where you can get snacks and food.

You may see a bride and groom or two. It's a very popular spot for wedding photos. It's very big and kept up nice. Very shaded too.

We loved this park! This is an expansive park in the middle of an area with spectacular historic homes - there are statues, beautiful plantings and a lovely fountain on one of the many park "squares". There is also a cafe in the park, and tennis courts available. There were lots of walkers and Moms with strollers enjoying the beautiful... More

You can't go to Savannah without taking a day to picnic in Forsyth Park. Peaceful and full of history, I never wanted to leave. Wish I could sit there for an hour or two everyday.
