River street was near to our hotel. Great to walk at night or day, great restaurant and shopping. Parking can get a little problematic during peak time.

Parking is a little tuff but worth the effort. Great shops and good food. Nice walk by the river. Great candy store!

Great place to see novelty shops and different kinds of eateries. Nice candy shop too. Benches to sit and watch the river traffic.

Neat area with a lot of historical significance, just could better serve with better selection of higher quality of stores. Be sure to visit the peanut shoppe, largest selection and free sampling.

The riverfront was a wonderful place to take a walk and the antique shops there were fabulous. If you enjoy antiques definitely make sure you stop there. We bought sweatshirts as souvenirs that I think we're reasonably priced and the food choices at the restaurants...More

River Street was a fun place explore and shop for souvenirs. There were lots of great little shops with lots to see. The guys in our group found a nice little pub to relax in while we shopped.

Great views of the Savannah river. There are many markers explaining the history of this port during the American development during 16th - 20th centuries. There are uneven surfaces, some difficult stairs, but very historic. Many restaurants, shoppes, and boutiques.

We only tried 2 on the river. fiddler's Crab House & Huey's. Both were good. outside of that, our worst meal was at Lady & Son's (it wasn't bad; but it wasn't great). The Old Pink House is a must!
