All the parks in Savannah are just beautiful. The trees dripping with spanish moss, the fountains, all just allow for a tranquil spot to stop and enjoy the view.

Visiting this square, as well as the others in downtown, are well worth your time. Don't rush through all these and just enjoy the history of this town.

Lafayette Square is one of the many lovey squares in Savannah’s historic district. It’s right next to the Cathedral.

My husband and I took a short walking tour on our own to see some of the sites. This is a lovely square near the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist.

I liked this square the best in Savannah. The Cathedral of St. John is there, Andrew Low house is there. Flannery O'Connors childhood home is there. The Hamilton Turner Inn is there. Cobblestone sidewalks. There is a cute little coffehouse across from the church.
