This square is one of the most important sites for the film Forrest Gump. Unfortunately the bench is no longer there.

A great place to stroll, people watch, eat and drink. Enjoyed watched Rob throw pizzas in the air at Vinnie Van GOGO, he had mad skills!

It is cool to be able to be at one of the iconic places from one of the most beloved American movies. But the bench has been moved.

We had out of town guests with us that are big Forrest Gump fans. When we got to the square, we were disappointed to see that there was no bench. Would it really be too much to put a replica there? Without the bench, there...More

The squares are one of the main reasons that Savannah is such a remarkable city - and Chippewa is one of the finest. Go sit and relax here for a couple of minutes.

Come see where scenes of the movie Forrest Gump were filmed. The bench scene was filmed on this spot. Lovely place to sit and while away the hours people watching.

The whole of Savannah has been used in many different films, this square is famous for its association with Forrest Gump and the bench scene. The square has spaces to sit and reflect and it is a great place to spend time
