Family visit to mid-day buffet

Enjoyed as always although I prefer the menu over the buffet at Pirate's House. Food was good though, and we enjoyed gathering around a big round table and were well attended to.

I was really looking forward to eating here and trying the Pecan fried chicken. The chicken was ok but not what I was expecting for Southern Fried. My biggest disappointment was the veggies were swimming in garlic butter. They were a great selection of veggies but not a fan of all that garlic.

The older kids wanted to try this place out after hearing about it on a tour. There were 8 of us, and 4 of the kids got the buffet. They all said the food was great and went back for more. We also ordered the BLT salad, a burger, and the shrimp po boy. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced... More

This was our favorite place to eat on the trip. Highly recommend their chicken with pecan sauce. They have pirate hats for the kids, great food, and tours available. The history of the house and pirate activity will be told to you (by request) by a pirate. All and all a good time.

Several people told us we should go here for the lunch buffet and they were right! The building is full of it's own history, but the food was really good too!

Went for lunch during the week. I'm not much for buffets so I ordered from the menu. I decided on the fried tomato salad which was a salad with bacon and then topped with fried tomatoes. It was very good. Service was awesome. There was no wait. I would return. I didn't feel it was a tourist trap however I... More

An old historic place with a Jack Sparrow waving to the tourist trolleys and a sketchy link to Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.

I have never had such good fried green tomatoes! The filet steak was awesome, the service was fantastic, the drinks were inspired. You have to go to this restaurant if you are in Savannah. Just make reservations to avoid the wait.

They really hit the jackpot with this one. The serving is a half of chicken so very easy to split with someone else and still walk away from the table feeling completely satisfied. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was born and raised in Savannah and was very helpful in suggesting local sights we might want to see. Make sure you... More

We ate at The Pirates House last week. We did call ahead to make our reservation for four people. We arrived fifteen minutes early but we were seated immediately. My husband and I ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese appetizer to share. We all agreed they were the best we ate while in Savanna. We shared the moist... More
