I really enjoy my visit tot his cemetery. If you like history this is a must see place. Very quiet place where birds sing all day long

This is a very beautiful Cemetery in the heart of Savannah. There is so much to see in the surroundings there. Many really good restaurants and historical places to eat and visit. Lots and Lots of History! All from the Civil War Era
Great to walk through and take pics. If you like this I highly rec going to Bonaventure Cemetery next! It will blow you away!!!
While there are only 600 headstones there are estimated to be many thousands buried here (but not for over 150 years)! Just reading the markers is a history lesson and the atmosphere is at once peaceful and eerily atmospheric.
This is a nice small cemetery to visit. The Graves date back to 1700's but some are so old, it's impossible to read the stones. Very nice place to spend time.

we strolled through this cemetery while walking between attractions in this area and found it worth while; we understood it better because we had earlier taken a trolley tour which explained the interesting history of this site.
One of multiple small parks in the area. Quant historic area filled with beautiful trees and shrubberies. Peaceful but won't take long to go through
