Savannah City Hall is a focal point on Bay Street. It is easily recognizable by its gold dome and may been seen from the river or many points downtown.

I have been inside many times for business meetings.
In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful buildings in Georgia.
If you are in Savannah stop in to see the lobby.

Built in the early 1900s. Centrally located between the city squares and River Street. Nice views of the Golden domed building from Johnson Square or Bay Street

This building is impressive. You can see the dome from a distance. The good shines in the sunlight. There is a nice park next to it as well. A nice spot.

Savannah's limestone and granite City Hall was built in 1904-1905 in a Renaissance Revival style and topped with a gold plated dome. It sits up on the bluff overlooking the Savannah River on the site of the old City Exchange. The gold dome is visible from the waterfront and is quite impressive glistening in the sun or lit up at night when walking down Bay Street.

Had a nice dinner with a co-worker along the water front and wanted to take a walk exploring a little after dinner.
Came to this beautiful gold domed Savannah City Hall and nice adjacent park with Revolutionary war cannons displayed.
What a lovely evening in Savannah

Dominating above the river is a golden domed building in the center of the river. By its architecture it lets you know this is the governmental center of Savannah and it is a beautiful building that you can see from anywhere. We had a chance to go inside and see it with a tour from the Mayor, Van Johnson. Again it is a beautiful building that dominates the city, day and night.

The city hall has a beautiful dome and part out the historic district skyline. The dome really glows in late afternoon prior to sunset with the reflection of the sun against the golden dome. You can also go inside to take a photo of the interior of the dome. Would recommend a stop and nice photos during daytime and nighttime when the city hall is light up.

I walked around Savannah City Hall a few times during my visit to Savannah in June 2021. At the time of my visit Savannah City Hall was not open to visitors. It has a beautiful Gold Dome so I took some photos. You can descend the steps nearby (and there is also an elevator) to go down to River Walk. The walk from City Hall to Forsyth Park along Bull Street is my favorite walk in Savannah and you pass Johnson Square, Wright Square, Chippewa Square, Madison Square and Monterey Square.
