Free. Beautiful when in bloom. Fun. Off the beaten path. A must see if you live or visit this city. Easy parking. Great picnic spot.

This is a spot to visit and stroll around in the spring, when the tulips are in bloom. Huge beds of spring bulbs set in the center of this Baltimore neighborhood invites leisurely walks.

On a beautiful spring/summer/fall day, you will see families celebrating Baltimore. Kids feel a certain freedom frolicking around the magnificent gardens and trees. Springtime brings out the photographers in all of us with breathtaking colors and shapes. A true treasure

Volunteers tend to the gardens in the spring and summer and it is free to walk around. Spring time is best when everything is in bloom. Not a big garden...can be seen in 30 minutes by car driving around the perimeter or by walking.

Sherwood Gardens is part of the Guilford Association neighborhood in North Baltimore. The address is incorrect on this listing - that is the Office of the Guilford Association. The gardens themselves are in the nearby residential neighborhood, on Greenway, reached off N Charles Street. Community volunteers choose the display materials, and after the April viewing dates - which vary depending... More

Sherwood Gardens is a great place to relax and see all the beautiful flowers, when in bloom. Even if the gardens are not blooming, it is a relaxing place to sit and read.
