The inner harbor of Baltimore is the nicest part of the city. Within walking distance you have tours of various ships, one of the world's best aquariums, and Little Italy less than a five minute walk away (you've got to try Da Mimmo). Visiting this part of Baltimore makes for a great weekend trip for any family.

Loved the ship tours, especially the submarine. USS Constellation was fascinating. Both ships are definitely not for tall people

Baltimore has done a wonderful job of taking a tired aging port and turning it into a modern, attractive place that draws locals as well as visitors. The renovation of the Pratt Street Power Plant, which dates from 1900 and was abandoned in 1975, is an urban success story. The brick building looks fresh and modern and a major landmark.... More

Pretty much the same as years ago. The building with most of the food options is being remodeled and is pretty pathetic.

Arrived in Baltimore on an unusually warm Saturday in February after Valentine’s Day. Stayed at one of the many hotels overlooking the Inner Harbor. Walking from our hotel, the harbor crowds were easy to maneuver around with lots of tourist looking at the sights along the water. There are many restaurants and establishments in and around the harbor that tourists... More

The Inner Harbor is worth a visit if you are in Baltimore, don't get me wrong. But the pavillions at the harbor have lost some their allure. The quirky and interesting little shops have been pushed out to some extent by national retailers. Same places you would find in a suburban mall. But the rest of the harbor is still... More

alot to see... the area is charming with touristy things to do that cost money and stuf that was free. pick a day with good weather and walk. only disappointment for us was that the restaurants were not very interesting... alot of the ususal restaurant chains were there. i did enjoy eating in one with a view of the harbor.... Stopped here while visiting colleges. Nothing for young adults to do. If your kids are still young enough to enjoy the aquarium, discovery museum and boat rides then you will have a great time.

This is a great place to spend a day when seeing Baltimore. There are a bunch of great restaurants and several different museums/sights to see while down here. It is also walking distance to the stadiums for the Orioles and the Ravens.
