Be prepared for the unusual and imaginative at this museum housing works by non-mainstream artists, including the "whirligig", a 55-foot wind-powered sculpture, a 10-foot model of the Lusitania made entirely out of match sticks and a mobile that spans three floors.

This is a great place for the young mind. It teaches us that you can envision anthing out of anything. It like looking at things in a different perspective. It challenges the norm, very unique.

This museum is probably going to be one of the most unique museums you ever visited! With its eclectic selection of objects, "biggest rubber band ball" anyone? Furthermore if you visit in July or August you can watch free movies on Thursday evening!

We attended a wedding in this venue and the place is really special. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see all of the exhibits but I am intrigued enough to go back. I don't know a lot of who the artists are, but think it is...More

I think this place is a hidden gem. I would prepare to spend around 2 hours here. The collection is very interesting and unlike anything you will see anywhere else.

This is a great little museum just off the beaten track in Baltimore. Everything from the building itself to the circular staircase begs to be looked at and marveled over. The museum highlights the unusual--toothpick models of the Lusitania, violin cases made of matchsticks, a...More

But it also is intellectually challenging and forces the viewer to participate and reflect. The curation is...More

One of the most fascinanting museums on the East Coast. We had a honor to talk with Mrs. Rebeka. Her explanation about art and philosophy of artists and life was valuable.

This is a little gem of an art museum. The exhibitions are well labeled and presented. There are some sections of long standing and others that change periodically. There was a school trip present when we were there this time and it was revealing to...More

Worth the visit. Only negative was the admission process where we were verbally assaulted when inquiring about the price. Good thing that the thought-provoking exhibits made up for it.
