I attended a concert at the Basilica. The renovations are lovely--it's a beautiful building. The stained glass windows have been removed and clear glass, like the original windows, reinstated. Lovely light.

I've lived in the area for years and only recently discovered this gem. It's history is fascinating and well worth a look up.

Take the guided tour. It's excellent! And stay for mass! Don't miss the St Theresa sculpture and the bench where you sat. And the St John Paul garden!

How do I get there this Sunday by 10:15 coming from DC on the train? Do I get a cab from the station?

I agree, although it is not far from the Amtrak station, since you are not familiar with Baltimore, a cab would be your best and safest bet.
