The venue has seen some years. I know that there is some controversy about the future of the Preakness Stakes at this venue, but it was a great crowd and a great day at the track for this big event. I had the obligatory Black...More

I visited Pimlico Race Course and was very surprised at the run-down condition of the facility. The indoor betting counters and simulcast monitors areas were smothered in stale smoke from cigarettes and cigars. Expecting a clean, freshly painted facility since the Preakness had just been...More

We had only been to a track once before and went to Pimlico with two friends from Chicago who are horse race fans. We went on Memorial Day (one week after the Preakness) for the last day of live racing. We had heard that it...More

Make sure to do your research before attending a race here, especially the Preakness. Parking is horrendous and overpriced. Best bet is the lightrail and free shuttle bus. Drinks are overpriced as usual, but the specialty Preakness drink gets you a souvenir glass. Seating is...More

If you are going to the races selecting the right seats is tricky and extremely confusing online. Get your tickets early for the best selection and expect to spend upwards of $300/day per ticket. Staff are uninformed and tickets are restrictive to one area and...More

I had the opportunity to attend the 2017 Preakness, as I was given 6 free Tix, all in Concourse seating. I couldn't get anyone I know to go with me. I have never been to any sort of horse race, let alone any major horse...More

Please, someone, help out this poor racetrack and give it some love! There is a lot of history and tradition, but the track is showing every bit its age!

We were here the week before the Preakness, and it was rainy and cold, so there weren't many people around. We just wanted to see it, so we were only there for one race, late in the afternoon. The general atmosphere is that everything is...More

There are but it really isn't a great area to be in. The Baltimore waterfront is a much more scenic option with a number of highly recommended eating establishments.

I think you would find that seats in the area known as " Concourse Box" would be to your liking. check with the site as far as availability or visit any one of the on-line brokers
