Nice Zoo

Make sure you give yourself at least 3 hours to see the whole zoo. It closes at 4 on weekdays and we got there at 2 and didn't get to see it all. What we did see was great!

This zoo exceeded my expectations! Knowledgable & friendly staff! Great exhibits that my 3 year old could see. Feeding giraffes is awesome! Can't wait to go back!

We managed to have a good time. However the exhibit's are small, and over all the zoo was disappointing. I wish we had made the hike to D.C. for the zoo. Locals had advised us to do so, next time we will listen.

The zoo was smaller than ours in Pittsburgh but very nice and lots of shade also get free ride to entrance and exit of zoo, parking was free and we got there earlier since they were having an event at 1pm and by then it was busier

The zoo has changed so much since I was a child. We had a great visit last week. We liked it so much we purchased a membership. The new penguin exhibit was so much fun.

We recently visited Baltimore for my son's 4th birthday and this was one of our stops. We had a wonderful time. The zoo was nice and clean and had good exhibits. We especially enjoyed feeding the giraffes (additional $2). Would definitely go back again.

My children and I visited this zoo in the summer of 2011. We enjoyed it but the heat was intense; if you are not used to hot summer days, I'd recommend visiting perhaps in April or May when it may be more enjoyable for you. Otherwise, you may want to use 60 SPF sunscreen. What really stands out for me... More

I have MANY fond memories at the zoo. The animals & exhibits are all very beautiful. I do miss the hippo house though! Even if it was dark, smelly & kind of scary...

Reasonably priced zoo. Advertised many animals and exhibits but 1/2 of them were closed because of the season. We walked a lot and saw a limited number of animals. Gorilla show did not go on as scheduled. Baby cheetah was no where. When you arrive, there was a shuttle that took entrees 1/4 mile to the zoo. There was a... More

Being from St. Louis where we have one of the best free zoo's in the country, I think most zoo's are going to fall short in my book. There were some exhibits that were nice for a STL ZOO frequent flyer like myself. You could see the giraffe's up close, and the okapi as well. They have a polar bear... More
