They do have some free days to visit the Zoo-recommend that day to come to see if you want to come back. Lots of people show up on that day-March? I believe.

One of my favorite zoos. Loved the penguin exhibit, as well as the polar bears. Had a fun day, and all the animals seemed well cared for.

By purchasing a family season pass, we were able to see the animals year round. The pass is reasonably priced for such an attraction. The zoo is about an hour from our home but worth the ride. It has one of the best children's section....More

Loved watching feeding of the penguins. This zoo has the only warm weather penguins. Amazing creatures. Lots of stuff for kids to see and do.

Perfect for children. Everything is easy to get to. The food was expensive. You can pack a lunch and bring with you. They also have a transporter to take you to the entrance of the zoo.

We had an amazing trip to the zoo. It was sad that there wasn't that many animals. We understood that it was after the summer rush but still there were animals that were no longer there. It was good time but they need funding.More

Eileen, Thanks for taking the time to share a review of your visit. We definitely agree. Funding for both animal care and exhibits is always welcome and allows the Zoo to grow. We've experienced great support from visitors like you in the past few years...More

The zoo was excellent. The grounds were clean and the animals were plentiful. It's in a different part of town, but we had no difficulty finding it. It was a great investment of the afternoon.

It's always nice to visit a zoo but for some reason I wasn't really feeling this one in Maryland. Perhaps it was the weather or perhaps, i felt sad for the polar bear hiding under the shade. This zoo was small...granted, it was inside a...More

Great place for a family. Nice selection of animals, and keepers are friendly and informative. The newer penguin exhibit is especially pretty cool. We joined as members—two visits and it pretty much pays for itself.

One of the few zoos that has Elephants and Rhinos!! There were plenty of Keeper Chats all throughout the zoo, and volunteers around the main exhibits to answer any questions. We fed giraffes and watched an elephant take a bath! There is TONS of shade...More

According to google maps it's a 17minute bike ride (2.4 miles) and only 12minutes by car (no biggie since it's only a difference of 5 minutes). There's free parking which is rare these days. I wouldn't advise to walk there... More
