Very quaint area of Baltimore with a lot of rich history of its revitalization. Wonderful shops, bars and pubs, hotels as well as many genres of live music. A wonderful place to spend the day and evening.

This is an old, historical part of town, where sailors and seamen disembarked. It still has an old feel. There are interesting, and old buildings, and some great restaurants, as well as all sorts of shops to explore.

Fells Point is a small downtown neighborhood where the streets are still paved with bumpy stones originally used as ships ballast. Being a very historic part of downtown, the buildings are smaller, tightly bound & charming. A lovely place to start if you've never visited...More

Ihad to do some bank business in the area so I strolled around a few blocks. It didn't feel like Baltimore at all, to tell you the truth. All kinds of hokey stores to wander in,and even the hardware store had different and unusual tools...More

Take the train up to Camden Yards. (You can get a good tour of the baseball stadium there.) The Inner Harbor is a 2 block walk from there, and you can catch a water taxi to Fells.

I'd agree, just about a mile to Canton Square. You can walk the promenade (it gets a bit tricky to follow at one point), but it goes right along the waterline for the most part. Very safe in the day, maybe not as much at... More
