If you like art museums, don't miss this stunning and manageably scaled collection. It's a walk through an art history text--beautifully installed salon-style. Small yet select groupings of not only Western art, but also Asian and Islamic examples, provide a unique experience.

Such an amazing museum - a family's collection gifted to the city and full of a plethora of art and archeology and collectibles. Could easily spend the whole day here, or plan multiple visits. If you are strapped for time, visit the top floor family collection.

I enjoyed this collection of artifacts from all over the world. Definitely will come again, so much to see and the architecture of the building is a piece of art.

I go to the Walters art museum as often as I can. It is unlike the traditional one that we visit everywhere in the world. This museum displays its art in an appealing space that invites you to examine and appreciate the work. There generally is plenty of street parking nearby and, even better, it is free. It also is... The best way to enjoy this museum is to go in the late afternoon and book dinner reservations at Sotto Sopra just a block up the street. It will be a day you will remember. You usually can find parking on the street in this area. You can walk to the restaurant from the gallery.

Wow. I could have spent the whole day in this museum. Due to museum-fatigue on my companions' part, we only saw two of the four floors, but what we saw was impressive. I'm glad we chose the fourth floor to visit, as it had several Monet. The sculptures captivated us all.
