If you visit the inner harbor in Baltimore, make sure to visit the aquarium. Probably the largest I have seen. Plenty of species of sea creatures from all areas of the world. A lot of sharks. Shame they do not have a great dolphin show...More

My 12 year old and my 2 year old had a blast! The aquarium is very hands on and interactive for the kids, the dolphin show was excellent, and although it was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded. They do not allow strollers which I wish...More

I have lived a n Maryland since 1993. During that time, I have visited the sights of Baltimore on innumerable occasions; however, I had never visited the "National Aquarium." A moment of sadness helped me discover this Baltimore gem! My girlfriend's cat "Rusty" passed away...More

The main exhibit, the coral reef was great and fascinating to look at and the sharks and dolphins were nice but there really wasn't anything much else which was disappointing as it costs $40 to enter for adults and really only take a couple of...More

Hi Alexandra. Our Blacktip Reef exhibit and Shark Alley habitats are beautiful, right? I'm disappointed that you felt your experience was lacking outside of these areas. We offer daily immersive programming, and 5 floors of diverse habitats, home to 20,000 animals. Did you have the...More

Lovely aquarium, we only had an evening and a morning in Bawtymah but went here on recommendation. It was excellent, well structured with a couple of surprise exhibits not normally seen in aquariums! Right at the end is the Dolphins, make space for it, as...More

Purchased online tickets half-price for a Friday after 5:00 visit. Worked out perfectly and saved a ton of money. The young man at the outdoor gate even allowed us to go in a few extra minutes early and was quite accommodating. Several staff members throughout...More

The aquarium is a nice outing however it is over priced for what is there. My family and I have visited other aquariums that had a far more extensive display of animals for a much more reasonable price. Our youngest (7) became a little less...More

Hi Stephanie. I'm happy your family could join us at the Aquarium, but disheartened that the experience was not fully engaging for you and your little one. With 20,000 animals of 800 species, along with immersive daily programming, it is our aim to offer a...More

Deserves its high rating as among the top handful of aquariums in the US. Just spectacular. We spent 5 hours there one afternoon. Especially enjoyed watching the scuba divers (who are volunteers) feed the fish. They (the scuba divers) posed for photographs while doing so....More
