    "Hey you GUYSSSSSSS!"
We had a fun time at this museum. Go see the goonie stuff first then go make your film cuts. A rocket gets you 5 and only five takes. So is as a group of 4 made our takes thinking each ticket got five takes as we each paid, but beware as a GroupMe they only give you 5 takes total. The gift shop was cute very very small and the clerk was stocking as we were all trying to browse making shopping not a great experience. It's fun to see the goonies car and relics.

    Hey, it's the Goonies Jail!
Honestly, if you are not a Goonies Fan, it's not a place I would suggest that you stop at. If you are a Goonies Fan (and who isn't?) then you definitely need to stop. There some props (Data's Costume), the cell used for filming at the beginning, a good gift shop, and the photo op outside with the "really cool ORV". Other than that, not a lot going on, mostly due to the green screen interactive scenes you can create either didn't work right or were very busy, so we tried one (Here's Johnny!) and once it didn't work, we passed on the rest. Cool though, if you're a fan.

The longer you bark the colder your lunch gets!
This is a small and humble museum but enjoyable just the same. The price is very affordable and we ended up buying a bundle package to see other attractions. If you are a movie fan in general, but especially a Goonie, you will enjoy your visit. If you are looking for a mega millions state of the art museum, this isn't it. I was amazed to learn there are so many movies filmed in Oregon and Astoria. Lots of photo opportunities and a chance to make your own movies too!

    Short stop for goonies fans
Affordable short stop. Great for Goonies fans! The museum is very small but has some cool Goonies memorabilia and great photo opportunities. We especially enjoyed the area where you can act out scenes from some iconic movies and the film clips are emailed to you.

We love the Goonies and this little museum was adorable. It is quick we were probably done in less than 30 minutes but that is mostly because my 9 year old doesn't believe in reading anything. I just wish there had been more. It was very reasonable $14 for 2 adults and 3 youth.

The way this museum is touted on Oregon Art Beat, you'd think that there was memorabilia from all the films made in Oregon. This is supposed to be the OREGON film museum. It's just a Goonies museum. To be fair, there a 'sets" where you can film yourself but, so what. I'm glad that we had purchased the 3 museum pass so that this one was basically free. I want my free back.

Disappointing. Not worth a visit or the fee per person. There was one tiny room, closet sized, of Goonies memorabilia. And not stuff from the movie but items like lunchboxes & toys. It seemed the only item from the movie was the Asian boy’s secret weapon overcoat. As for items from other movies filmed locally, there were none. The museum is such a small space that it’s occupancy is 30 people. Half the space consists of a few little film sets where you can film yourself; not easy to do in tight space with lots of people on top of you. The jail building was in the Goonies movie, but calling the contents inside it a museum is an untruth. The owner of this operation should be ashamed of themselves.

The building used to be a prison, that's the most interesting. It is not a museum, there are virtually no things / props from the movie Goonies or other movies shown, just posters. You can shoot short "film scenes" on your own, we didn't like it. We were disappointed, had hoped for more information about movies. Even the USD 6 entrance fee per person is too much for this. No recommendation.

It is a very small Museum that is primarily dedicated to The Goonies (which is why we went). It was fairly quiet the day we went which gave us lots of time for pictures. Loved the gift shop too. If you aren't a fan of The Goonies I'd probably skip this museum.

Make sure you see Goonies before coming here. This is pretty much a Goonies shrine. There’s a little bit of other stuff but this is a Goonies shrine. It’s small and cramped and it can only take so many visitors

Fun museum. Kids don’t care how cool or informative a museum is, they just wanna have fun. This museum had some scenes from goonies but it was very fun also, the best part was they have a make your own movie scenes at the end!

Don’t bother. Unfortunately the Flavel House was closed due to shortage of staff so went here instead. Should have closed this place and opened the other as this was a waste of my $6 per person to get in. I heard the employee tell the people in front of us that it would take about 45 min inside and we were out in 5.

Not worth visiting unless you want to spend less than 15 minutes looking at some Goonies stuff. The "Museum" is in an old jail (cool), but honestly, there is not much in the way of memorabilia of films shot in Oregon, except a few posters. There is a small area dedicated to the Goonies film, which took us less than 10 minutes to see, and an area where you can film yourself in a movie. The movie making area could be fun for younger people, but honestly, the props could be much better. One of the short films you can make of yourself is in a truck with a green screen behind, but instead of projecting something interesting on the green screen there is some lame background. I think we tried making a few films and emailing them to myself, but I never got them. Overall, this place is a bit rundown and the goonies display is minimal. There is a small gift shop, but the people in charge need to do so much more to come close to calling it a "Film Museum". It's a small Goonies display that could fit in a local store as an attraction.

Oregon film museum is a small museum mainly housing information and memorabilia from the movie “The Goonies” which was filmed in and around Astoria. Some people have mentioned that they were in and out in 5 mins - you will be if you are not fans of the movie! We spent about 45 mins in the museum. It was great seeing all the classic memorabilia from the movie. Our girls’ loved the screen room where you had the opportunity to film your own movie scenes. A fantastic start to our Goonie-filled day!
