I had good time in this tiny museum. That’s also because I’m a BIG Goonies fan so just being in Astoria and visiting some of the actual sites where it was filmed made it even more enjoyable. Please don’t come here expecting much but instead,...More

Very interesting museum. If you like, you can have a movie made and they put it on a DVD so that you can show it at home.

We paid $6.00 per adult and $4.000 per child, for what? It's a rip off, that's what! It has 3 small areas to go through, and some silly nonsense about a few movies made in Oregon state. What a tourist trap. You'd be better off...More

This is a very small facility, but has some aspects of a museum. The real draw here is the hands on film making experience. We recorded movie scenes from two movies made in the Astoria area, The Shining and Kindergarten Cop. They made great souvenirs...More

Misleading title. This is a Goonies tribute and has virtually nothing else about any other films made in the area. Unless you are a diehard Goonies fan, don't waste the six bucks

We were going to visit this museum because we read that a lot of movies were filmed in Astoria. We got to the window and I was ready to pay but the woman at the ticket window asked us if we liked the Goonies. I...More

Use your map on your phone and it's easy to find. Here's a hint, it's right next to the Clatsop Circuit court and be advised that you don't want to park in the court parking lot. There is plenty of off street parking. It's inexpensive...More

I'm a die hard Goonies fan so only came to see the jail house. On discovering that it was a museum we nearly moved on. A family ticket was $15 so in we went. This is a great place. The original jail cells used in...More

Okay if you are not familiar with the film Goonies than the charm and character of this building will be lost on you. Goonies is a film in which a group of misfit children believe they can save their town from demolition by developers by...More

Difficult to find because there are no signs. Standing across the street we weren't sure where it was. The only identifying sign is on the side of the building facing a parking lot. And on the top of the building just above the windows. This...More
