Coming from a landlocked state, it was great to learn about the history and life of folks who spend so much time on the water. Very interesting!

This is a well kept spot along the Astoria riverfront by the trolley line that is a memorial to those gone. It includes not only servicemen but those who labored in the maritime industry.

A very nice memorial to mariners. This is a lovely spot on the riverfront, with park space and benches. Take a moment to enjoy the view and give a thought to those lost at sea.
