A very nice walk on a sunny morning

My husband and I and our dogs really enjoy the walk here. The boardwalks are great. And the trails and well-kept most would enjoy a walk year.

We stopped by here for an afternoon walk and to find some shore birds. While we enjoyed our walk along the beach, there were few birds to be seen. We also walked one of the nature trails into the forest, but again no birds. This was a pretty place, well worth a visit.

Dang, I LOVE this park!! The price is right (sorry, cannot remember the price right now) and the scenery is beautiful. I mean, how wrong can anyone go right on the beach!? It's not like a New Jersey beach with syringes and crap all over the place..

never crowded, nice rest rooms and pic nic area. beaches are always clean. The only down side is that they charge to get into the park. They also have a really nice camping area. There are no stores close by

We decided to visit most of the state parks this weekend during the FREE National Park week. The most important thing to know is: there is a fee for entry into each park. The fees range from: 2 dollars per person to 5 dollars per car load. Be sure to check the web page for the park you expect to... More

This beach front state park is someplace that you probably wouldn't ordinarily fine just driving around. My wife and I stopped here on a couples weekend and found that the beach was immaculately clean and sparsely populated with other beachgoers. We were able to take our shoes off and walk around in the sand after walking down from the parking... More

Great beach very wide long and quiet. We cycled along the beach which was memorable. You can do a circular cycle ride just make sure that you cycle on the really hard sand with the wind behind you unless you want a workout. Cycles were two dollars an hour with a max cost Great value but not loads of them

My wife and I went camping at this State park. The beach area has just natural beach shore. We were able to find shells for our she'll collection. The beaches are not crowded and worth the drive.

We come from New England where you have trouble finding a place to park to go to the beach and when you do, it costs a fortune, then you have to fight the crowds. This is only $5 a day for a car to enter, no matter how many people -- what a deal! Beautiful, peaceful beach to walk along... More

I love the tremendous amount of firm sand on this beach, perfect for walking long distance in and out of the surf. Pelicans, gulls, sandpipers, all the shore birds you could want. No obnoxious begging birds. The pristine white driftwood at this beach is stunning. Grass covered dunes and wooden walkways between the parking lots and the beach Plenty of... More
