Clear, clear water, high tide packed sandy beach made for easy walking (compared to soft sugary sand). Rough water made swimming dangerous, but there was such a wide/deep beach there was plenty of room for the children to play. Love that there were sand showers and restrooms by the boardwalk!

Feels like the Keys just outside the city! Quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds. Great for everyone. Will definitely return.

Uncluttered, uninhabited, underused, under appreciated, but overwhelming. This is the Florida coast as it should be. No houses, no restaurants, no concessions, no crowds, and almost no access.

Weekend was slightly chilly in the morning, but warned up by afternoon. Very few people on the beach, mostly people fishing from the old bridge.

Always a great day to walk from parking lot to north point along the beach. Over the years have seen beach with starfish, sand dollars and other things. Some great places to take pictures. Just don't want to get to point when tide is coming in.

Nice clean property. Not real busy most of the time. So you are not sharing the Beach with hundreds of people & Beach chairs

I've visited this park at least twenty times over the past six years. It's my absolute favorite spot in North Florida. You can get four miles out of the trail which is really fun. I usually see some wildlife! The dunes are really interesting and there is something different to see every time. The park was affected pretty badly by... More

Absolutely beautiful. $5.00 State park fee. The beach is clean and massive. There is no worry about being crowded. It is a drive out there but is very worth it.
