I went to this beach by myself ( other times I've taken my kids) and was kind of unsure about being by myself and how safe it would be but I felt safe and the beach only had a few people but enough people that it wasn't crowded and I felt safe. The park ranger at the entrance suggested to... More

This is one of my favorite places to be with friends and family. We planned early to obtain a covered sheltered pavilion for our large groups. Ours was suitable for about 35 people with about 8 wooden picnic tables and several grills for grilling your hot dogs and burgers. If you don't call ahead to reserve a pavilion, you can... More

Great place to walk and collect shells. You will see a variety of birds,, as well as turtle nests in the Spring. Hardly ever crowded and plenty of parking. There are picnic pavilions near the parking.

This is where we take visiting friends and family since it is not as crowded as the local public beaches. Great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. There are restroom facilities but no concessions. Lots of local wildlife. Recently we had a visit from a snowy owl, almost unheard of this far south. The bird watches went crazy.

Little Talbot is one of the nicest beaches I have been to. The park is well-kept. I have never experienced a problem there. Great beach to meet up with friends!

I've been visiting Little Talbot Island for most of my life. There are great hiking trails that teach one about the dunes, maritime forest, the beach, and ocean itself. There is plenty of room for privacy and a campground in a wonderful maritime forest with windswept Oaks, Red Cedar, and a natural fairly healthy eco-system. No large predators in general... More

I have lived in and around Jacksonville for many years and the Littl Talbot state park is still my go to beach. I personally love the south end of the park. The beach is beautiful and if you time it right the tide pools are wonderful.

Little Talbot is one of my favorite beaches. I love the fact that it's uncrowded pretty much any time I and my family go. There are outdoor showers for washing off sand, and restrooms with changing rooms. There are also coke machines. We usually bring a picnic lunch, but there are plenty of picnic pavilions with barbecue grills if your... More

This is a nice quiet beach. Does not get as crowded as other beaches in the area. Very nice covered picnic and BBQ areas right next to the parking lot. Very clean bathrooms with areas to change and clean up. A bench in the bathroom was helpful when changing toddlers. The water showers are on the boardwalk so you can... More

Our family spent a Sunday biking the trails and had a great time! If you're outdoorsy type, I highly recommend making the trip to LTISP.
