I lived close by on the Westside and this was one of my favorite places to go for a nice hike, or take my camera for nature photography, or for just a nice relaxing afternoon walk.

We love this park mostly for the DOG PARK area. Lots of shade and space for the dogs and their owners. It lacks enough seats for the owners, but we still rate it highly.

I hike a lot, but not usually in Florida, because it's flat and humid. Places like this make Jacksonville more bearable. They have nice trails and a pretty overlook area.

This park has about 5-7 miles of mountain bike trails. The back part of the trails flood during heavy rain. It's right across the road from NAS Jacksonville.
