My daughter suggested we visit this beach and I was so impressed with its beauty. Boneyard Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Do not skip this one !

We were coming from Jacksonville beach so we took the St. Johns river ferry to shorten our trip by 30 min. Once we crossed it was a short 10 minute drive to the turn out to get to Boneyard beach. There was a $3 entrance fee but we parked right next to the access point. Due to the active hurricane... More

Big Talbot (And Little Talbot) is a great spot for being close to nature. Bird watching along a wooden boardwalk; biking along a 5 mile asphalt path; walking on the beach; nature photography.

The boneyard beach is one of the bizarrest places i have been to. It puts you right into nirvana...the sea, the dying trees, the driftwood....a special place and plenty impressions to shoot pictures. Great place to unwind and contemplate life. Basically no ppl - might have been due to time of day... Probably the best time here is autumn as... More

Great 2 hours!!! An earlier reviewer had mentioned difficulty getting on the beach, however further erosion has created a fairly easy path down to the beach. Footing is a little iffy but it's not as hard to climb as we used to be

Hurricane Matthew certainly caused some serious erosion. Still beautiful and a great photo opp. When we visited today we could not find a safe way down to the beach. Well, we could have made it down but if you are over 40 you could hurt yourself. Once down... climbing back would be even more difficult. A handful of teenagers were... More

Boneyard Beach at this park was a sight to behold. All the fallen oak trees have remained on the beach, which gives the beach an eerie feeling. I loved shooting the scenery, and as a bonus, was treated to photographing an osprey up close. To get to this beach, park at the second parking lot on A1A North, coming up... More

My boyfriend took me there to show me the driftwood and for a walk on the beach. It was quite a view of nature, seeing all the driftwood and the beauty of the beach. Very romantic and quiet. A very easy hike to the beach and on the beach. Very picturesque and great for photographers!

The main thing about Big Talbot was the uniqueness of the trails. There is one called Blackrock that is a beach of driftwood and corroded sand and is only about a mile walk. This park is right on the beach and offers a variety of classic Florida scenery and experience.

There was not another soul on... More
