We started a bike ride on the Jax Baldwin Rails to Trails trail here. Great find for bikers, walkers or just strollers. The park itself is also just a good stop. You could spend an hour at the park or extend your visit w a trail ride or walk. Lots to see and learn about Florida history and historical facts... More

A lovely park with paved trails perfect for bikes or strollers (even a running stroller). Everything is well kept and beautiful. There is no charge. We did not go into the educational center or the restroom (but there are restrooms). Camping is by permit only. There were many photographers there taking on-location portraits and the scenery for pictures is beautiful.... More

We went today to take a guided hike and learn about the Civil War times. Guide was excellent. Plenty to explore. Will definitely go back to hike the trails.

I really enjoyed my day spent at Camp Milton Historic Preserve. I first happened upon this place a couple of months back while biking the Baldwin Trail. I briefly rode through on my bike then, but came back today to hike the trails and take in all the history. The trails are all board trails with rails and mostly all... More

A quiet place to relax and enjoy this little discovered park. No playgrounds, no food stalls. One restroom area near the rail to trail bike path, with the only refuse containers near the park. Wide open areas with period buildings of the late 1800's. Well marked trails and boardwalks that traverse original Cilvil War earthworks of this once Confederate camp... More

This historic park is very well later out with something for everyone: history, bike/running/horse trails, etc. It even has a section with trees descended from Civil War trees.

Love the Civil War history lesson and the hunt for the Geocahes in the area. We noted that the bicycles paths prompted us to come back with our bikes and experience them.

My husband and I took our kids (4&2) to play in the field today. There was plenty of room to run and play games. We had a soccer ball, football, frisbee, and baseball/bat. So much space. The only downfall is that there is no covered area in the front/parking area. But it's a great place for walking the trails with... More

Our family really enjoyed this former confederate camp. There are quite a few trails (great for family bike rides) that loop through the area. Informational signs are located around the property. One important note: they do not have garbage cans, so pack out what you take in!
