Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. We do not breed, sell, or trade any of our animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, foxes, and coatimundis (the last two are "honorary cats"). We are only open on select days, and last admittance is 45 minutes before closing,

Undeniably caring, socially involved, & evolved people, who take & care for animals probably destined for destruction. A worthwhile visit, & monies to to care, upkeep, adoption services, & maintenance upkeep. I believe all workers are unpaid volunteers (not positive).

You would never think that there would be lions and tigers in a neighborhood setting, but this one is. And it's worth a stop by even at night (check their hours before a visit) as they do feedings and it's extremely awesome to see!

We had high hopes for this place before our visit but were seriously let down- the cages are small and unkept, and the visitors there are essentially people of Walmart. It was just not our crowd or environment. I'd prefer the zoo.More

Thank you for visiting. I am sorry you left feeling let down and I will try to respond to the points you made. Some of the habitats are smaller than the others, that is true. Your guide should have mentioned that the first habitats you...More

Went to the Catty Shack with 3 children & 5 adults. Super educational on all the animals on this property. Feedings started at 7:30p while we were there, and watching these majestic animals was inspiring. Highly recommend doing it at least 1 time.
