Wonderful day of enjoyment walking around the zoo seeing all of the animals. Train ride is fun seeing the back side of the animal enclosures.

We LOVE the Jacksonville zoo. The staff is fabulous and so informative of the animals and their habitats. Our kids favorite thing is the train ride so they can see lots of animals. We try to go at least once per month!

The zoo is laid out in sections. You can get close to animals and feed the giraffes. There are a few places to eat there with reasonable prices. You can take a train through the zoo.

I had the opportunity to visit the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. It is located near the St. Johns river. The plants were especially noteworthy. The Lotus topped the list. The animals exhibits were top of the chart. Well worth the visit.

Filthy nasty restrooms, trash laying all over the zoo and i never seen one employee picking any up. I was there for 4hrs. I will say the animals looked well taken care of.

Not a bad set up I've seen larger zoos like Chicago Brookfield zoo but for a smaller one it packs a punch a must see while in Jax

Loved that on Valentine’s Day you can buy one ticket and get one for free. The park was clean and look forward to going back. Butterfly exhibit was empty.

I agree with everyone...for the most part there is little no zero wait time to purchase tickets. If you are going to upgrade and get season passes (worked out VERY well for my family) it takes about 15 minutes to do all the... More
