Always bring an umbrella with you on any outdoor adventure in Jacksonville. We were disappointed that the gorilla exhibit was not yet open.

The family and I enjoyed and stroll through the zoo. compared to other zoos we've done in the past, this was small. However, crowds weren't too bad. Food and snacks overpriced. Disappointed there was no petting zoo, just one goat you could brush. Find a...More

My kids love the zoo but it has gone down hill over the years. The train ride is a huge waste of money. The train was really rusty and breaks gave me headache the whole ride. The ride also doesn't show anything! most places you...More

I've been to several zoos in Florida and have never found one so dirty. In at least half of the animals enclosures you couldn't see through the screen\glass due to algae and what looked to be almost mold in some places. The manatees in the...More

I would consider a family pass for the whole summer if they want to see it all. Check the zoo website for rates.

There is a discount. The price would be $17.95 and you need some sort of military identification.
