Jax Zoo is very well organised. The flora and fauna is categorically divided based on he continent they belong to. It’s an experience like no other! No wonder it has won several awards!

Jacksonville Zoo has evolved over the years to a very nice local zoo. The train ride is worth the extra money and takes you around the zoo. Zoological Park is on the river where you can enjoy the views while resting with family. Very reasonable...More

Great time at the Zoo, a bunch to see and do! The kids had a great time running around the play zone. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch. But most importantly the animals were so cute and entertaining for the little ones.

Zoo is clean, laid out well and nicely appointed. It is a gooid size zoo with plenty to see. HIGHLY recommend to go mornings as the animals mid-day are sleeping in corners and you will not see much. Easy access with good parking accessible.

Very pleasant and well designed zoo with large enclosures for all animals and goo viewing areas. Witnessing the birth of a baby giraffe was a bonus

I have been numerous times- and for special events. My favorite is Brew at the Zoo! A fun, grown up only, night with food, drinks and entertainment around every corner!

We went right when they opened on a Thursday and felt like we had the place to ourselves! The exhibits were elaborate and really gave the animals room to spread out. Would definitely return. My daughter was excited to see the new baby giraffes!!

No but they have a train that circles around park. You can either ride to the back and walk, forward or go to back and have it take you back to the front to the exit. The food is toward the back of the park though.
