I am sorry to say that it wasn't worth the time to go to the Riverwalk unless you just want to look at the River...It took a while to figure out how to find a place to park and the selection of shopping was slim...More

Although the view is beautiful and the walk is very nice the shops and restaurants are tacky and sparse. Huge disappointment as we read good reviews on this being something to do in Jacksonville--only if you just want to walk.
Honestly, there are a lot of places I would choose before Riverwalk. It's pretty empty with many closed up businesses. About an hour north is St Simon's Island, a lot nicer place to visit and much more romantic.
