Unless you are into old buildings, it's totally not worth your time, HIt the beach instead. Those were the words of the person we spoke to at the tourist office downtown, Jax.
Plus there were so many homeless person downtown, it's was overwhelming to see.

Honestly, there are a lot of places I would choose before Riverwalk. It's pretty empty with many closed up businesses. About an hour north is St Simon's Island, a lot nicer place to visit and much more romantic.
