Rob the owner has extensive knowledge of old time photography which makes it interesting and fun. He dresses you up in realistic uniforms that make the pictures come alive.

Rob uses the same cameras, & processing that was used in 1863 not a computerized sepia image. He gives you the tin that your image is captured on. The print is the real thing, the same as was created in 1863, no computers, no modern...More

this is the second time we visited Gibson's, Rob and his wife are great. He has the real stuff from the 1860's and will share his knowledge with you. This is not like the tourist places with the costumes that tie up in the back....More

Gibson's Photographic Gallery is by far the best authentic 1800's wet plate photography studio I have visited. Rob only uses authentic equipment and clothing from the 1800's to create his unique tintypes and glass plate photos. He can also transfer them to an actual photograph...More
