It is so amazing to see a real covered bridge, maintained well, in such a calm and serene setting. We really enjoyed seeing the bridge and the surrounding area. Got some really great pics, too!

My wife and I were heading towards Gettysburg and I set the GPS for the address of this bridge. When we arrived, there were only 2 or 3 cars parked on either side of the bridge.Within moments, they were gone, allowing for some great photos....More

If you like covered bridges, this will not disappoint. It is a short drive from the battlefield and Eisenhower site.

The Sachs Covered Bridge was a great site. The truss design was very unique. The restoration and preservation of the bridge is a true testament of the local people and groups to keep history alive
